Decoration: Classy & Classic

Really, what would you define as a classic style space? What does a classic house look like to you? I’m sure the first thing that comes to mind is your paternal home. Mom’s taste prevails, with loaded composites, tables full of frames, bulky floral sofas, large wooden furniture and thick curtains

Classy & Classic

Although this is not the definition of the classic, it is a trend that dominated the 80s and 90s. And while we go through the time of mix and match and eclectic, there are several pieces in mom’s dowry that we love, true masterpieces, but we hate the whole, the combinations and the wrongly loaded spaces.

Classy & Classic

So let’s see how such a house can stand today, in our tastes, with our data, with the primary need of warmth and family warmth, something that mom certainly had in mind.

Classy & Classic

Rule number one, not only here, but everywhere, it does not have to be all sets. Do not be afraid to make combinations. Prefer luxury materials, but one at a time.

Classy & Classic

Do not overload the space too much. If you like maximal style, seek the advice of a professional.

Classy & Classic

Choose bold colors in pale shades. Dare to shade, but do not create great contrasts and add color to other elements, do not be afraid of color!

Classy & Classic

Velvet, luxurious material, wonderful in texture, in many topical shades. Choose vibrant colors for a classic but not heavy effect.

Classy & Classic

If you have a classic simple wooden bed, do not load it with excessive patterns, mattresses and duvets in bold designs. Prefer a strict wallpaper, while a minimal note, such as these frames on the wall are what will give an opinion and will lighten the result.

Classy & Classic

If you already have heavy furniture, try not to put too many colors, rely on one or two fresh colors and themes (such as chinoiserie here).

Classy & Classic

Prefer a crystal in space. A crystal chandelier is a heavy item. Try not to burden the result with other crystals and heavy materials.

Classy & Classic

Give a happy note by putting a classic chic wallpaper in soft or more intense shades.

Classy & Classic

Classy & Classic

Put gold details in the space, combining them with black and white elements. The result will surprise you.

Classy & Classic

If you have heavy carpets,
prefer not to put a lot of decorations around, prefer thin geometric shapes and furniture with thin legs.
